About

I am the Director of Education, Communications, and Benchmarking for an association based in McLean, VA.  Happily married and the “master” of two cats, my wife bequeathed unto me 3 great step-children who are now all fully grown.  My hobbies include spirituality, especially the mystic and esoteric types, and music, especially guitar.  I have played for almost 30 years.  My main inspiration continues to be Eddie Van Halen, but he is certainly not alone as I enjoy all types and styles of guitar virtuosity.  Life is a gift.  As Ferris Bueller says, “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” Don’t miss it!

  1. Thanks for checking out The Shining Stranger, Chuck! I would be honored to have my link on your blog. And I’ll be happy to return the favor; I really like your poetry and prose! Blessings and peace…

  2. We have discovered verification of Harold’s work. See “Nature’s Hidden Force” I worked with Winifred 30 years ago. I she still alive? If so, how might I contact her?

    1. Hello Dr. Land! Thanks for chiming in. Looking at the synopsis of “Nature’s Hidden Force” am I right in understanding that you and Dr. Jarman have verified Harold’s understanding of entropy? Winifred’s nephew, Henry, commented on the second post of this blog, “Who is Preston Harold” and mentioned that Winifred had passed. Exactly when I do not know. I’m sorry to have to pass this information on to you. My deepest sympathies.

  3. Love this blog on The Shining Stranger”
